It is prepared from Anthemis nobilis (Chamaemelum nobile) plant which belongs to Asteraceae family or Compositae family. It has apple-like and sweet fragrance and has very light blue color and water form viscosity. It is further extracted from the flowers with the process of steam distillation process that yields about 1.7 percent from fresh flowers. 

Common Names :
English chamomile, sweet chamomile and garden chamomile.

Blends with
lavender, ylang-ylang, bergamot, geranium, jasmine, clary sage, grapefruit, tea tree rose and lemon.

CONSTITUENTS-:
b-pinene, a-pinene, camphene, myrcene, sabinene, y-terpinene, caryophyllene, 1,8-cineole, propyl angelate and butyl angelate.

Uses
It is widely used as getting relief from various kinds of ailments such as gall bladder problems, abdominal pain and throat infections. Apart from this it also helps to relieve asthma, allergies and hay fever. For skin, it is used to calm rashes, acne, eczema, dry and itchy skin, wounds, dermatitis and various other allergic conditions.

It is considered an essential oil that is extracted from Matricaria chamomilla (M. recutica) plant that belongs to same family which is also known by names of single chamomile, blue chamomile and Hungarian chamomile. Its fragrance is like sweet, straw-like which is dark blue in color and with medium viscosity. This oil is procured from flowers by the process of steam distillation process with Roman chamomile that yields about 1.7 percent from the fresh flowers and German chamomile yields about 0.2 to 0.4 %.

ylang-ylang bergamot, rose Lavender, lemon geranium, clary sage, jasmine, tea tree and grapefruit. 

CONSTITUENTS-:
Chamazulene, bisabolol oxide A, bisabolol oxide B, bisabolone oxide A and a-bisabolol.

Uses
It is quite helpful in urinary stones (bladder gravel) as well as it helps in stimulating gall bladder and liver. It also helps in improving digestion and for treating menstrual and menopausal problems. It is quite effective in treating dry, red and irritated skin as well as calming psoriasis, allergies, eczema and various skin problems.
