This oil is procured from seed of celery plant which is known as Apium graveolens in botany. This is prepared by steam distillation of the seeds which is beneficial for various kinds of ceramic products as ingredients. Its yield comes in yellowish to yellow-brownish colors.

Uses:
It has wide applications as an antioxidant, anti-rheumatic, antiseptic (urinary), antispasmodic, digestive diuretic, aperitif, depurative, cholagogue, carminative, hepatic, (nervous), stimulant (uterine) nervine stomachic properties. It also can be used as a , carminative and tonic preparations and as well as it is used as fragrance component in cosmetics, soaps, perfumes and detergents.
